Summary

We’re looking for a Sr. Web Integration Engineer to provide high quality integrations with our customers. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you'll have critical impact for our customers and therefore for our business. It's also an engineering role where you'll be hands on with all facets of the technology stack.

What you’ll be doing

• As a full stack integration engineer, your role is hands-on coding, configuring, and maintaining integration environments for our customers.
• Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders during the pre- and post-sales process to understand technical requirements and translate to scalable integration solutions and support to internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering, and Partnership Success) as well as with the external customers
• Assess customers requirements to propose solutions with our platform/product, communicate the integration process in an easy-to-understand manner directly with our new partners, and oversee the live launch and hand-off to Partnership Success
• Be a technical voice of the customer; work closely with the product and engineering teams on product loop feedback to advise internal teams on strategizing, iterating, and prioritizing new features and update
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to ensure alignment of the global Technical Solutions function with the overall product and business strategies and goals
• This will include tasks like:
  • Building custom solutions to our partners
  • Create, maintain and deploy complete landing pages and applications - HTML, Javascript, CSS
  • Script, maintain and deploy scripts to support Firework’s full functionality at the clients site
  • Implement Firework’s API and deploy in client production sites
  • Configuring Firework’s settings in the client's site
  • Work closely with engineering for best practices deployment and development

We’ll be excited if you have

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or other technical field
• 5+ years of software engineer or software developer or 5+ years of experience as integration engineer
• Strong knowledge of data integration such as Google Analytics ( GA4) and Adobe Analytics 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with various technical and non-technical audiences; must have strong empathy and emotional intelligence with diverse customers
• Advanced technical discovery, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Start-up, team-oriented mindset

Technical qualifications

• Experience developing rich applications with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of Wordpress; Shopify is a plus
• Understanding concepts like data flows, APIs, web services, and the mechanics of software integration

The role may be hybrid in one of our offices or remote. For remote, we are looking for candidates in Canada or México.
