We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sr. software engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in PHP development with the Laravel framework, experience in MySQL, and the ability to integrate third-party services. Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially Cloud Functions, along with a good grasp of version control tools like Git/Bitbucket, is essential. The candidate should also possess excellent client communication skills and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP (Laravel) and MySQL.
2. Third-Party Integrations: Implement and manage integrations with various third-party APIs and services to extend application functionality.
3. Cloud Functions on GCP: Develop and deploy serverless cloud functions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support application logic and workflows.
4. Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage relational databases using MySQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
5. Version Control: Use Git/Bitbucket for code versioning, ensuring seamless collaboration and deployment processes.
6. Client Communication: Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure that their needs are met with clear and effective communication.
7. Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring robust and efficient application performance.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve development processes and application performance.
9. Adaptability: Be open to learning new technologies and taking on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

1. PHP & Laravel: Strong experience in PHP development with a deep understanding of the Laravel framework.
2. MySQL: Proficiency in MySQL, including experience with database design, optimization, and complex queries.
3. Third-Party Integrations: Proven experience with integrating third-party APIs and services.
4. Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Hands-on experience with GCP, particularly in developing and deploying Cloud Functions.
5. Version Control (Git/Bitbucket): Proficiency in using Git or Bitbucket for version control and collaborative development.
6. Client Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients professionally and effectively.
7. Self-motivation: Highly self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new challenges with enthusiasm.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Good Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Typescript.
2. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker.
3. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
