Title: Salesforce Solutions Architect

Length: 3 month contract (through end of September 2025) with potential to extend

Location: Remote

Rate: $87.75/hour W2


Client seeks a Salesforce Solutions Architect to oversee our substantial and growing set of capabilities on our platforms, enabling operations, customer service, care plans, marketing, and sales.


Solutions Architecture is a critical function that supports the strategic planning and alignment of our organization's technology infrastructure with its business goals. The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for creating and implementing an overall technology strategy that meets the current and future needs of the organization, while also ensuring that the technology systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.


The Solution Architect works closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, technology teams, and other subject matter experts, to identify business requirements and develop technology solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. The Solution Architect also provides guidance and direction to technology teams on the best practices and standards for system architecture, design, and development.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field or a combination of years of experience, and/or certifications in information technology.
  2. Possess 8+ years of IT architecture experience, specializing in salesforce solutions architecture.
  3. Strong experience across multiple salesforce clouds - Service, Sales, Marketing, Experience, Health
  4. Leading significant technology projects, including strategy development and road mapping.
  5. Skilled in instituting technology standards, and managing vendor contracts, with a strong background in collaborating with business leaders for technology solutions integration.
  6. Possesses a good understanding of what clouds provide out of the box. Example, What does the product roadmap look like.
  7. Strong business acumen and ability to understand business strategy and map it to technical strategy
  8. Experience doing custom development in the past - understand when you do custom dev vs packaged solutions. Understand different issues and best practices if you were to develop custom components in SF
  9. Deep knowledge of the technology
  10. Exposure to SDLC, DevOps procedures, integration, data architecture
  11. Proficient in risk management and compliance, with effective communication of complex technical ideas to varied audiences.
  12. Solutions architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, and FEAF.
  13. Business architecture and how it supports business strategy and operations.
  14. Technology architecture, including infrastructure, applications, data, and security.
  15. Emerging technologies and trends in the industry.
  16. Regulatory and compliance requirements in the industry.

Ability to:

  1. Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
  2. Comfortable to switch hat and work deeper in Solution Architecture space.
  3. Champion a culture of teamwork and trust, driving collective success through collaboration, open communication, and mutual respect among all team members.
  4. Work side-by-side with Solution Architects and development teams on best practices in solution design, including integration patterns, architectural standards, and environment management.
  5. Learn business use cases quickly and effectively convey complex ideas/ solutions to audiences of diverse background and technical exposure.
  6. Anticipate stakeholder needs, develop, and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.
  7. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Integrate social networks within Salesforce to bolster lead generation, customer engagement, and marketing efforts.
  2. Experience with the Salesforce Foundation Cloud.
  3. Experience transitioning from Household to Person Accounts in Salesforce.
  4. Utilize AI capabilities for advanced data analysis and predictive insights.
  5. Integration Knowledge with MuleSoft.
  6. Experience leading Salesforce Health Cloud implementations.
  7. Certifications: Salesforce Health Cloud and Salesforce Administrator
