Job Description:

Recharge Recruitment are proud to be working with one the US' leading Solar EPC's. We are currently undertaking the search for a Solar Construction Project Manager to over see the construction of C&I Solar projects.


The Solar Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial and industrial solar projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise in solar energy systems, and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Project Planning & Execution
  2. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  3. Oversee site assessments, permitting, and interconnection applications.
  4. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.


  1. Stakeholder Coordination
  2. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  4. Work closely with finance teams to track project costs and optimize efficiency.


  1. Technical Oversight
  2. Ensure proper installation and commissioning of solar PV systems.
  3. Conduct quality control inspections and troubleshoot technical issues.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.


  1. Risk Management & Compliance
  2. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  3. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  4. Prepare and submit project reports, including financial forecasts and performance analysis.


Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience managing C&I solar projects from development to completion.
  3. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, interconnection processes, and permitting requirements.
  4. Proficiency in GIS tools, project management software, and technical documentation.
  5. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


This is a remote role that will require travel across the US.
