NEWSTAR offers a single integrated software solution engineered to manage all your business functions while supporting your business growth. Designed for residential construction projects including single-family, multi-family, high-rise, condominium and land development projects with a focus on business management.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to our Customer Care Manager the successful candidate will provide software support directly to our customers by:

1. Providing first level problem investigation and resolution for NEWSTAR Suite of Products.
2. Working closely with development documenting and communicating software related issues
3. Accurate and timely tracking of all reported issues in our call management tool
4. Meet all defined service levels for unresolved problems, re-assigns ticket to the appropriate internal/external team
5. Appling technical aptitude (operating systems, PCs, printers, remote control utilities etc.) in resolving client issues
6. Advising the Team Leader, Client Services of sensitive Client situations
7. Attending and participating in Team meetings
8. Attending CHS product training, as required
9. Making recommendations to address problems, improving service and providing improved support
10. Developing frequently asked questions (FAQ) documentation
11. Work shifts may vary to accommodate maximum help desk coverage
12. 
    

Qualifications:

Our Software Specialists are customer facing where we build key customer relationship delivering superior customer support for our products. The organization usually hire applicants with the below qualification:

1. College/University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline.
2. Accounting knowledge or working towards CGA or CMA certification preferred
3. Courses or Experience in Residential Construction, Commercial Construction or Property Management, Real Estate Management and/or IT field.
4. Experience using any of the NEWSTAR Suite of Products would be a great asset.
5. Proficient in MS Windows applications and Basic SQL knowledge
6. Presentation skills (in-person and on web conferences)
7. Comfortable utilizing remote access utilities such as Remote Desktop, VPN
8. Superior analytical skills to resolve customer issues
9. Self-Managed and motivated with an ability to work with minimal direction in a collaborative team environment
10. Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
11. Provide courteous, friendly, and professional communication with external and internal stakeholders.
12. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
13. Excellent time management and set priorities managing conflicting demands
14. Positive team attitude and ability to collaborate with team members and coworkers
15. Works well under pressure
16. Willing to travel

Salary Range (US Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $29.60 - $44.40 per hour. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Other Compensation (US Only):

This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.

Time off (US Only):

The Company provides a minimum of 10 days of vacation for new employees , sick time based on state requirements, 8 Company-paid holidays and 2 personal holidays per year.
