The Mobility Engineering Team is one of the key players that drives profitability and growth of our company. It's the bread and butter of Uber!
Our team builds technology that handles some of the biggest challenges that Uber faces day-to-day. These include: user growth and retention, revenue and profitability growth, safety and reliability, earners' income maximization, environmental sustainability, and the fulfillment platform.
The Mobility Team is home to Rider, Driver, U4B (Uber for Business), and Marketplace sub-teams that operate like startups within Uber. Some of the things our engineers are working on are in the first iteration, which means that you have the ability to design the future of some of our product offerings.
The team works on the latest tech innovations while adopting new tech evolution to stay ahead of the competition. We are always exploring the latest and greatest technologies ranging from data science, face tracking, and analysis/pattern recognition to create the best and safest experience for our users.
Join our team and work on the frontlines of building Uber's core technology used by millions of users in 10,000 cities worldwide!

At Uber, we reimagine the way the world moves for the better. The idea was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then, our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We've grown into a global platform moving people and things in ever-expanding ways, taking on big problems to help drivers, riders, delivery partners, and eaters make movement happen at the push of a button for everyone, everywhere.
We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let's move the world forward, together.
