An established consumer brand in the health and wellness space is seeking a skilled Social Media Manager who lives and breathes digital culture. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, trend-savvy, and capable of executing high-performing social content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. This role will report to the Head of Content and be a key member of the marketing team, responsible for managing the brand’s voice and visual presence across organic and paid social media channels.
Social Media Manager Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand goals and marketing campaigns.
- Research industry trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Produce compelling organic content (copy, image, video) that drives engagement and builds brand awareness.
- Manage the daily operations of all social media accounts including planning, scheduling, posting, and community interaction.
- Own the end-to-end process for organic and boosted posts, including creation, publication, and performance tracking.
- Support digital and agency teams on paid social media advertising, while managing the in-house boosting strategy.
- Build and manage monthly content calendars for core markets (primarily US), with occasional support for international regions and brand ambassadors.
- Develop creative concepts and storyboards for in-app social media content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.).
- Utilize tools like Sprout Social (or similar) for publishing, listening, and reporting.
- Stay attuned to platform-specific trends and viral formats, applying them strategically to the brand.
- Track performance metrics, analyze data, and present monthly reports to key stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor 1–2 junior team members.
- Oversee an annual paid social budget, developing a cadence for boosted content and performance optimization.
Social Media Manager Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing social media for a consumer-facing supplement or fitness brand.
- Proven success in building brand presence across major platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
- Strong copywriting skills with an understanding of visual storytelling and creative direction.
- Experience balancing both creative development and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in social media management platforms like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar.
- Familiarity with paid media strategy and budget allocation for boosted content.
- Clear understanding of KPI development, campaign measurement, and real-time optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior contributors.
