Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our innovative team. As a Social Media Manager at Otium Creative, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media strategies that elevate our clients' online presence, engage target audiences, and drive meaningful results. This positions provides a flexible scheduele, ability to work from anywhere, and the ability to essentially choose your own hours. You also have the opportunity to grow within the company and move up roles (such as Account Director, Lead Strategist, COO).

This position is hourly based, and starts part time with 1-2 clients. After a 1-3 months, if things are running smoothly we will work with you on your scheduele, and eventually your work load will become full time with an expectation of 3-4 clients managed. You also have pay increase opportunities over time in the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client objectives
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social platforms
• Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations
• Present analytical reports to clients including suggestions and SMART goals
• Keep up with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social media technologies
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective digital campaigns
• Foster community engagement and build brand loyalty through authentic online interactions
• Create graphics and video edits for social media posts
• Create in depth copy for posts and captions that is on brand for your cleints

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
• Strong content creation and copywriting skills
• Proficient in social media analytics and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management
• Experience working with a diverse range of clients and industries is a plus
