WeTheHobby, a trusted, high-growth brand in the sports card industry, is looking for an experienced, creative professional to join its expanding operations. The Social Media Manager will take us to the next level through planning and creating innovative content for digital advertising, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. The candidate should be motivated, trainable, and have strong social media, photography and videography skills. Required qualifications:

• 4 years relevant work experience in a Marketing or Media field
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Strong photography & video skills (able to provide examples)
• Familiar with popular social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
• Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into digital content
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work occasional nights and weekends (these hours would be included in standard 40 hrs/wk, combination of in-person and work-from-home work depending on event)

Preferred qualifications:

• Positive, creative, and enthusiastic
• Familiar with streaming platforms (YouTube, Twitch, etc.)
• Enjoys and is knowledgeable of sports - sports cards knowledge a big plus!
• Excellent communicator with strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
• High attention to detail

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Research industry-related topics
• Bring fresh ideas to the table and new ways of communicating ideas
• Craft unique and innovative posts for social media platforms
• Create various content types (videos, photos, graphic designs, ads, etc.) with relevant tone and style
• Utilize various social media and streaming platforms
• Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics
• Work occasional nights and weekends (as specified above)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
