Christianity Engagedis a Christian video production studio and online ministry that shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encourages believers all over the world. We have inspired over 150 million people in over 100 countries. We are seeking highly motivated and passionate writers who love the Word of God to join our growing Christian ministry, which ministers to over 250,000 people on a regular basis.

The Social Media Content Writer will assist the social media ministry by managing the social media calendar, which consists of Bible verses and Christian quotes, and writing thoughtful and encouraging captions for each post. These social media posts will inspire believers all over the world.

Required Experience:

• Strong knowledge of the Bible required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience researching different commentaries, translations, cross reference verses, original Hebrew and Greek words, etc. and pulling out the most important key facts.
• Ability to simply complex or excessive information into the critical information that matters.
• Ability to communicate profound truths in a literary style that everyone can understand (not looking for scholarly writing).
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

  Primary Job Functions:

• Provide 20-25 social media posts and captions monthly, which will be distilled down to 12-18 per month (3-4 per week) for the social media calendar.
• Provide 15-20 ideas annually for short videos/stories that will be distilled down to 8 throughout the year (about 1 per month starting in Q2).

  Pay Expectations:

• This is a contract position. You (or your company) will be paid directly (1099 income).
• $20/hour.
