About the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator ensures that our programs and services run smoothly and efficiently. This position manages and executes social media marketing strategies for the Company.

Essential Duties

• Develop and implement social media marketing campaigns that align with the company's brand image and marketing objectives
• Promote events through various channels, including Eventbrite, Meetup, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and more
• Create and schedule social media posts within the company guidelines
• Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and drive marketing initiatives
• Conduct market research to gather insights and inform marketing strategies
• Create promotional and marketing material and collateral for events and to support campaigns and initiatives
• Manage SEO/SEM activities to improve brand visibility and drive organic traffic
• Utilize ad server tools to execute paid advertising campaigns
• Prepare analytics reports to show the results of marketing campaigns and website performance
• Responsible for creating and distributing the company blog and newsletter
• Complete administrative duties in a timely manner
• Comply with company policies and procedures including ethics, conduct, and safe working expectations
• Represent company values including community, care, and professionalism on a daily basis

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred
• Minimum of three years of social media management experience
• Minimum of one year of graphic design and copywriting experience
• Prior experience supporting the LGBTQIA+ community preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative
• Prior SEO experience preferred
• Prior experience using platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
