Social Marketing Producer and Community Manager

SUMMARY
The Social Marketing Producer and Community Manager will be responsible for the strategy, content development and management of the Red Robin social channels and communities. This includes implementing the Red Robin "voice" consistently across all social platforms to communicate effectively with designated audiences and drive engagement while partnering with key agencies to maximize content strategy. This position will oversee the brand’s interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms’ content strategies and actively monitoring Guest interactions and conversations, including proactive management of crisis situations.
The Social Marketing Producer and Community Manager will be responsible for capturing social content in our test kitchen, working with the chefs to build engaging social-first assets, including editing and designing to match social strategy and best practices. The ideal candidate will also have experience in photography and coordination of social media photoshoots.
This person will own reporting on insights gained through these social communities and on the platforms as a whole informing stakeholders and the company at large of obstacles, feedback, and trends. Duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer behavior and planning digital campaigns to build community online. Cross-functional strategy and collaboration with the Brand Marketing, Category, Loyalty, and Consumer Insights teams are necessary.
**This position is hybrid remote. The ideal candidate would reside in Colorado and be able to travel to the Restaurant Support Center in Englewood, CO on a regular basis and as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Strategy:
- Create and manage specific, unique social content campaigns, often cross functionally, designed to break-through and disrupt the standards casual dining social presence while promoting key brand initiatives.
- Collaborate and manage external agency partner to design and implement overall strategy for brand owned social media channels.
- Strategize and execute best community engagement practices.
- Strategize social media performance reporting in order to monitor the state of the brand and cull insights to inform future decision making.
- Strategize guest-facing communications in order to protect brand reputation.
- Brainstorm and strategize social activations for various marketing campaigns, providing best practices and providing online, holistic awareness.
- Monitoring Sentiment & Topic Trends:
- Seek opportunistic conversations that are a good brand fit.
- Develop and export precise, clear scorecard reporting based on identified themes, through listening and other data insights for both social and online reviews.
- Support and guide franchise partners, developing their understanding of social by screening content and maintaining their engagement platforms.
- Provide feedback and actionable next steps to larger team and stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Community Management & Responding:
- Partner with afterhours 3rd Party Community Management Agency and Guest Relations teams to maintain a consistent, accurate guest social experience.
- Responsible for day-to-day social media community engagement, actively responding to and supporting guests on owned social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Deliver social media response SLAs in accordance with brand standards.
- Maintain consistency and brand standards for online review management (Yelp, Google, etc.).
- Provide social channel monitoring on behalf of Guest Relations team, Human Resources, and Crisis/Risk team, serving as social media point of contact and expert.
- Continually monitor guest conversations via social media channels to identify trends, acting quickly as needed to drive exceptional engagement moments for the brand.
- Creative Management:
- Develop brand social creative and content in partnership with Brand Manager and agency teams, including management of social photoshoots.
- Production of Content:
- Develop, evolve, and manage Content Creator (aka Brand Ambassador) program.
- Develop and maintain brand voice from a social perspective, taking full ownership and understanding.
- Build and evolve topic tagging, including tracking/archive processes.
- Align with consumer insights team to support their data with online learnings.
- Explore information that can be culled from online review sites such as Yelp, Google, and Facebook Reviews.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree or equivalent work experience required – Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or Business Administration
- 7+ years’ experience in Marketing or related field required
- Previous restaurant / hospitality / retail experience strongly preferred
- Social Media content creator, experienced with design, photography, video production
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
- Extensive experience with social monitoring platforms
- Experience in content creation, with ability to build/design content real time for multiple platforms and mediums
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage competing priorities and initiatives across internal & external stakeholders with minimal supervision

Compensation Range: $91,400.00 - $125,675.00
