General Purpose of the Position:

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to automate processes, improve efficiency, and enhance platform functionality. Your day-to-day tasks will include configuring and customizing ITSM, CSM, and ITOM modules, developing integrations, and ensuring platform performance, security, and scalability. You will utilize JavaScript, Jelly, Angular, and Glide API to automate workflows and enhance platform functionality. Additionally, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and train internal teams on ServiceNow functionalities. You will also maintain clear documentation of configurations, workflows, and development changes while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and security standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions will be a key part of your role. Regular updates, patches, and system upgrades will be performed to maintain the platform's functionality and security. You will stay current with new ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices to continuously enhance the platform’s performance.

Required Skills:

1. Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions, including workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Jelly, Angular, and Glide API for automation and scripting.
3. Experience with ITSM, CSM, and ITOM modules, including configuration and customization to enhance incident, problem, change, and asset management processes.
4. Ability to recommend best practices based on industry standards for platform customizations.
5. Familiarity with Flow Designer, Playbook, and Workflow Editor.
6. Strong understanding of REST/SOAP API integrations and automation tools.

Pluses:

1. Experience with AI tools, ServiceNow AI tools, Salesforce, and billing capabilities.
2. Knowledge of cloud environments and IT infrastructure.
3. Additional certifications in ServiceNow or related technologies.
