SEO Digital Marketing Engineer

GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Centennial, CO looking to add a SEO Digital Marketing Engineer to their team. The role is a FTE position. The ideal candidate will have experience optimizing websites for search engines, managing data pipelines, and leveraging ESRI tools to provide innovative location-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing large datasets.
• Utilize ESRI tools and technology to create location-based data solutions.
• Analyze and optimize websites for search engines, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and technical SEO.
• Implement SEO best practices and improve organic search rankings.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track SEO performance and data engineering processes.
• Stay updated on SEO trends and Google algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO strategies into marketing campaigns.
• Perform data analysis and generate insights to drive marketing decisions.
• Manage and troubleshoot data engineering infrastructure and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering and SEO marketing.
• Proficiency in ESRI tools and technologies for geospatial data management.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page and technical SEO.
• Experience with data engineering tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, ETL).
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS platform and related tools.
• Knowledge of search engine algorithms and SEO analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
• Familiarity with GIS data formats, spatial databases, and geocoding.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Certifications in data engineering, SEO, or ESRI technology.
• Experience in managing and optimizing websites with a focus on SEO.
