We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to develop content for digital and social media platforms. You will collaborate with our marketing team to primarily create blog posts that are educational for our customers and newsworthy articles in relation to current events. There will also be opportunities to be involved in more marketing oriented tasks such as helping create content for social media to engage our target audience, write email blasts and press releases, and copywriting or editing for marketing campaigns. You must know how to research various topics and industry trends and be able to produce content on tight deadlines. Excellent grammar and writing skills and a strong attention to detail are all essential for this position

The SEO Content Writer position is responsible for creating content that is high value to both readers and search engines. Applicants must understand SEO at a foundational level at the very least and be willing to grow from there. Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMRush are huge pluses; as these will be instrumental to the job as well as applicants' success in obtaining the position. We want great engaging content that our readers will love and we want to make sure it shows up in search results on Google/Bing/Duckduckgo so that they can read it!

*Our business operates in the firearms industry. Extensive firearms knowledge is required for this role. That includes experience using firearms (target practice, competitive shooting, hunting, law enforcement or military experience, self-defense/every day carry) and experience with building/assembly of firearms (installing parts & accessories i.e. lower part kits, upper receivers, etc).
