Senior SEO Content Strategist & Analyst (Remote)

• Are you able to identify areas of opportunity and create compelling blog posts, product descriptions and web copy?
• Do you enjoy digging through the data to make informed decisions?

Responsibilities and Duties

• Dominate all things search
• Lead Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & SEM efforts for our brand and websites
• Use Google Analytics / GA4 to make data dependent recommendations to increase conversion, item sales, and traffic
• Identify trends & acts upon opportunities for boosting keyword rankings
• Conduct keyword research, and looks for technical SEO opportunities using tools such as ahrefs.com

• Conduct periodic content audits and rewrites of content to improve freshness and rankings
• Write compelling SEO-rich blog articles and content that targets potential customers in the proper stage of the marketing conversion funnel
• Write product descriptions emphasizing key selling features that are SEO friendly and optimized for conversion
• Build relationships with outside content and publishing platforms to get links, visibility, and sales
• In addition to creating their own content, this individual manages and outlines work for 1-2 contractors

Qualifications and Skills

• 6+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in digital marketing or other applicable degree
• Advanced knowledge of SEO and SEM techniques
• Expert at compiling data, manipulating spreadsheets, and providing actionable insights
• Google Analytics (GA4)
• Experience managing teams and contractors
• Comfortable working with and writing HTML and basic CSS
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with Magento and Wordpress
