Senior Salesforce Engineer (Commerce Cloud) - 100% Remote - 12 month contract to hire

Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 200 global hospitality company, is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer with experience with Commerce Cloud to join our team. This team will be working closely with B2C Commerce engagements focused on Salesforce OMS and third-party integrations within a new Salesforce org. You will be instrumental in setting up and leading a team, working closely with the retail business team, and collaborating with external service providers to implement Commerce Cloud. You will take on a leadership role as the primary point of contact as additional members are brought on board.

Experience of the Right Candidate:

1. 5+ years of experience developing highly customized applications using Lightning Web Components for Salesforce Commerce Cloud
2. Proficiency in JavaScript and ECMAScript development
3. Experience integrating Salesforce.com with external systems
4. Active Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification
5. Technical leadership experience is desired

Technical Environment: Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ECMAScript, Salesforce OMS, PWA Kit, Dynatrace, Splunk

We Will Be Putting a High Emphasis On:

1. Leadership abilities, as the engineer will be the sole team member initially and will need to drive design and implementation independently.
2. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details to business stakeholders and vice versa.
3. Building e-commerce solutions with a Salesforce Composable Storefront architecture
