They are expanding their engineering team and are looking to add multiple Manufacturing Engineers ranging from entry level to senior level with a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design.
This company operates a 4 day work week Mon-Thur with occasional Fridays
General Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or reduce costs, using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods or product design, materials and parts.
- Design jigs and fixtures to facilitate the assembly of products.
- Design layout of equipment or workspaces to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Evaluate, install and/or troubleshoot new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Assist in the development and installation of semi-automated production lines.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting of capital projects.
- Assist and coordinate new products Prototype Runs and Pilot Runs.
- Perform Production Line Balancing, Capacity analysis, Time studies and Labor costing.
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline.
- Strong experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design
- Proficient use of computers/software, Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma tools
- Experience working with AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with PLCs.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish), excellent communication skills
Work schedule: 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday from 7:00am to 5:30pm) + some Friday’s
