JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of the Senior FPGA Electrical Design Engineer is to support existing electronic products used in system development and to develop newelectronic products as required based on customer needs and requirements.

Required Skills:

Digital and analog circuit design and analysis, including FPGA design

RF subsystem design and analysis using various RF building blocks

Knowledgeable of embedded firmware design

Ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and work productively to solve a variety of problems

Ability to manage ones own time to meet budgets and schedules as well as the interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively as part of a
team

Ability to lead a small technical team to develop new products

QUALIFICATIONS:

DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design electronic circuits, modules, products, and systems to meet product specifications

Perform product qualification testing and transition to manufacturing

Develop production test procedures and manufacturing documentation

Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and customer service

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mentor and lead other engineers to complete design tasks

Estimate product costs, development costs, and labor hours to complete design tasks

Develop/monitor schedules and project activities for new product development team

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 7-15 YEARS
EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (Required)
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
