Role and Responsibilities
As a Business Development Specialist, this position is tasked with successfully fielding inbound leads, nurturing prospective clients, scheduling appointments, attending appointments, and closing leads from prospects looking for property management services. Characteristics include self-motivated, a positive kicka** attitude, strong task & time mgt skills, organizational skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate as a team player. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management and Generation: Proactively work warm inbound leads provided by the company, and also take the initiative to generate your own leads. This dual approach ensures a steady stream of potential clients.
- Engagement and Communication: Reach out to prospects through various communication channels, including phone calls, text messages, video calls, and in-person meetings. The aim is to convert these prospects into clients by effectively communicating the value and services we offer.
- Client Consultations: Conduct thorough and professional consultations with potential clients. These meetings can be in-person, over the phone, via video conference, or onsite property review consultations. The focus to understand the client's property/needs, present our best-in-class services, and advise on the potential rental value of their property in the current market.
- CRM and Lead Tracking: Utilize our (CRM) and Lead Generation System for precise tracking and management of all leads from their initial contact through to conversion. This system ensures organized follow-up and effective lead nurturing.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, and various referral sources. This network is crucial for long-term business growth and client retention.
- Market Research: Regularly research organizations and individuals to uncover new opportunities for business expansion. Staying informed about market trends and potential clients helps us tailor our approach and services.
- Customer Value Enhancement: Work towards increasing the value we offer to existing customers while also attracting new ones. This involves understanding and responding to changing client needs and market dynamics.
- Coaching and Direction: Receive guidance and coaching to ensure success in the role. This support is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and strategies to excel as a Business Development Specialist (BDS) in the property management industry.
- Networking: Develop and cultivate relationships with potential clients through events & social events.
- Closer & Accountable: Ability to close new clients and manage client expectations when getting their rental property leased. Be accountable to hitting your numbers.

Qualifications:
- Previous Sales Experience (1)
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in using a CRM
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and personal auto insurance coverage
- Enjoy being in a fast-paced, customer service, and sales-driven environment
- Has excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
- Enjoys being on the phone and has incredible phone skills/experience
- Aggressive and results-oriented in all things
- History of success in personal and professional life
- High economic drive - wants to make a lot of money
- Independent, self-motivated, and competitive
