Job Description:

We’re seeking an ambitious, data-driven sales executive with an open, collaborative and team-based approach to leadership and management. They will lead our experienced sales staff to consistently deliver annual customer revenue growth and retention objectives, bringing new strategies, processes and techniques into play for our email, phone and video interactions with our potential customers.

 


The Sales Director will be instrumental in setting the strategy for an enterprise sales model focused on incremental revenue growth opportunities which leverages our existing client base. As a leader, you will have a profound impact on our sales team members through mentorship and support and on the overall growth of teambuilding.com.

 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our CEO, COO, and Managing Director to develop sales strategy, goals, and annual plans, including:

    • Strategies to include capturing repeat business, increasing close rate, developing recurring revenue stream
    • Strategies to launch and expand into Enterprise Sales
    • Create and test pricing structures for new products to maximize sales close rate and profit
  • Provide daily management and guidance for Client Advisors within the Sales Department including, but not limited to:
    • Oversee performance, happiness, and recruitment of client advisors
    • Coach advisors to improve their close rates and average deal sizes, including build out of playbooks designed to secure our largest named accounts
    • Rally team to hit and exceed sales goals, recognizing and remove sales roadblocks
    • Execute on financial duties, such as deal pricing reviews, commissions and bonuses
  • Track company sales goals and performance in CRM. Ensure CRM system is accurately maintained for all client records. Build corresponding reports and views to manage pipeline and guide activities.
  • Operate as part of the leadership team, working closely with creative, marketing and operations to ensure alignment of initiatives company-wide.

About You

  • Experienced in B2B and enterprise sales
  • Managed a team of 5+ sales reps and/or sales managers including training, coaching, quarterly reviews, performance evaluations, hiring, firing
  • Responsible for overseeing at least $10 million annual sales revenue with a strong bias towards action
  • Experience building an outbound sales process
  • Proficiency working with technology. We use Close CRM, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail, Slack, Proposify, Zapier, and many other web-based tools

Additional Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the US or Canada.
  • This position is remote. You must have regular and reliable access to high speed internet.
  • Available to work with teams from coast to coast.

Compensation

$130,000 to $150,000 annually (DOE) + up to 20% annual compensation performance bonus
