Job Description:

As an Account Executive is a sales professional responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with clients. The primary focus of the role is to generate revenue by selling products or services to new and existing customers. Account Executives play a crucial role in the growth and success of a company by identifying potential opportunities, understanding client needs, and effectively presenting solutions that meet those needs.

What you will do:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Prospect and identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products/services and articulate their value propositions to potential clients.
  • Create and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Sales Presentations and Negotiation:

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients.
  • Handle price negotiations and contract discussions to close deals while maintaining profitability for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure client needs are met effectively.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, activity reports, and client information using CRM software.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to sales management, helping to assess progress and make informed decisions.

Market and Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and potential threats.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  • Knowledge of the industry or product/service being sold is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred

The salary range for this position in California is typically $241,850- $399,100. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. This position may be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
