You’ll be on the forefront of the military user design experience by developing, producing, and iterating wireframes, clickable prototypes, UI guidelines and design assets.

Position Details

Full-time exempt.

Salary Range: $90,000 to $130,000 a year.

The work will be performed at various locations, including at the company offices in Utica and Rome, NY, the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in Rome, NY, or remotely. A 100% remote work arrangement is an option for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Graphic Design Manager will manage the creative design and execution of visual communications to meet Technergetics’ marketing and advertising objectives. They will provide internal clients with designs standards, tools, and guidance on communicating corporate image, branding and identity. The Graphic Design Manager develops and maintains the designs and production operations of all company visual elements including publications, infographics and social content deployed across digital, interactive, and print mediums. The Graphic Design Manager will also supervise a small team of UI designers.

Education and Certifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Computer Science or closely related technical field is strongly preferred. We will consider candidates with associate degrees or certificates in the areas listed above in combination with experience.

Qualifications

The successful candidate has a general familiarity with the latest cutting-edge advances in graphic design software packages and possesses three to five years of professional experience in most of the following areas:

· Managing or leading teams

· Managing or leading an art or design department

· Creating a brand identity

· Implementing UX/UI design

· Delivering quality user experience by utilizing excellent research, writing, and design skills

· Style guide process creation and enforcement

· Web design and development (HTML, CSS)

· Excellent communication and time management skills

Hands-on experience with the following apps and tools for designing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes is required

· Figma

· Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for, at minimum, Secret access to classified information.

Travel

The successful candidate may be required to travel at times, including to client sites, trade shows, installations or other locations throughout the country, including Technergetics offices in Utica and Rome, NY.
