Senior Windows Engineer:

A leading high-frequency trading firm based in NYC is seeking an adept Windows Engineer with extensive experience maintaining, optimizing, building out, and automating Windows infrastructure. The firm utilizes Windows for plenty of its core infrastructure and as its primary desktop OS - so maintenance of this platform is mission-critical. This individual will be responsible for standardizing and automating the Windows environment - so will need proficiency with PowerShell.

Responsibilities:

• Act as an escalation point for any Windows-related issues
• Automate processes via PowerShell
• Standardize Windows environments
• Optimize Windows Environments
• Manage Active Directory
• Collaborate with global teams on new projects and to solve complex incidents
• Develop documentation to support the team on incident resolution

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Windows 10 and Server 2012 R2/2016/2019
• Extensive experience with Active Directory/DHCP/DNS/Group Policy
• Extensive experience troubleshooting workstation operating systems and applications
• Experience with hardware monitoring and performance tuning
• Clear and concise communication skills
• The ability to work in a collaborative environment
