Quality Manager
Summary: Oversees the company’s QMS (Quality Management System) along with work related to product assembly, to assure the delivery of quality products and services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs/leads internal audits based on ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards throughout the supply chain, ensuring quality standards, safety and legal requirements, and company policies and specifications are met.
- Collaborates with clients, customers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve problems with delivered products.
- Provides process support and guidance to direct and indirect reports.
- Evaluates processes and drive implementation of corrective actions.
- Develops and maintains a system to track and report results of quality awareness programs and initiatives.
- Drafts and recommends procedures to establish or improve quality standards, process controls, and inspection methods.
- Develops and implements strategies to increase quality and improve efficiency.
- Oversees data collection, analysis, and other research for quality projects.
- Train employees on new processes, set- up training schedule and assure backups are in place.
- Facilitate monthly quality meetings and support QBRs (Quarterly Business Review)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
- Process background in a manufacturing environment including contract manufacturing.
- ISO 9001experience required and ISO 13485 experience a plus.
- Experience training diverse groups of people to the above processes/work methods and adequately documenting training.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience a plus. Internal auditing experience.
- Electro- Mechanical System (box) build experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Clean Room & ESD management experience is a plus.
- Strong initiative, ability to develop and drive plans to completion
Education and Experience:
- ISO Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality management.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs at times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
