Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintainable and scalable multi-tier SaaS applications with web-based and plugin-based clients on Microsoft technology stack and a variety of ERP/E-Commerce platforms.
- Responsible for key contributions to development and programming activities for various customer-facing ERP/E-Commerce integrations, online platforms, and services.
- Actively contribute to an Agile team and ensure development tasks are driven from start to production.
- Fast learner that can dig deep into new technologies/systems and confidently deliver code for several programming languages and systems.
- Build, document, test, deliver, and maintain high-quality code for complex systems, and diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Participate in special projects such as greenfield, creating microservices, reviewing third-party libraries, and conducting technical research.
- Write maintainable and readable code that meets technical standards / best practices as set by the development team within a CI/CD environment.
- Mentor/coach less experienced team members and always willing to learn.
- Have a team-first mentality and strong interpersonal skills.
- Provide customer support with technical issues.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in professional software development.
- 1+ years of experience developing and supporting customer-facing applications.
- Working knowledge of programming with C#, .NET, JavaScript, Web, Windows
- Experience working in an Agile (preferably SCRUM) environment and leveraging Azure DevOps (or similar tool).
- Experience working with databases (MS SQL Server or similar RDBMS), SQL
- Proficient in object-oriented design and development using software development best practices.
- Comfortable using Web services (SOAP and/or REST), Git (VSTS), JSON, XML, PowerShell, Visual Studio (or similar IDE), HTML/HTML5, CSS, MVC, Web APIs
- Excellent at problem-solving and debugging.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Familiar with ERPs. Experience developing integrations/plugins for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations/AX with X++, Business Central/NAV with AL, or other ERPs a plus.
- Experience developing performant and highly-scalable web services.
- Experience working with VMs, containers, MVC, AJAX, JQuery, PHP, and Azure/AWS Cloud technologies.
