This role is 100% remote for residents of Texas or Florida.
What You’ll Do:
The Content Writer is responsible for writing and editing marketing materials across digital and print channels to support business lines and corporate initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Customer Marketing, and will partner closely with the product marketing staff, external vendors, and other key business partners throughout the company. We are looking for an organized individual who also has a curious, creative mindset that can dive into the details to get things done quickly.
- Create engaging, informative, and error-free written content for our website, blog, social media channels, and other marketing materials.
- Enterprise, research, and develop new content and story ideas.
- Create engaging, technically sound content that increases understanding, knowledge and engagement of the general public with regards to HighLevel product releases and updates to the platform.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure high-quality output.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to content writing.
- Develop, draft, and edit a wide variety of collateral including but not limited to website copy, electronic newsletter copy, social media copy, varied audience-focused content based on repurposed thought leadership, ad copy, scientific bios, and other organizational profile-raising pieces.
- Develop compelling and original content based on HighLevel communication and market engagement priorities.
- Draft press releases and marketing copy, including recruiting materials.
- Provide counsel to stakeholders on messaging and content development to ensure that communications are clear, correct, and aligned with HighLevel’s brand and style.
- Ensure consistency in style and tone on content throughout the website and other marketing collateral.
- Collaborate on the maintenance of our brand style guide.
- Develop communication materials supporting HighLevel goals, priorities, and initiatives, including newsworthy content, key messages, talking points, and company wide announcements.
- Support external PR campaigns, digital/social initiatives, recruitment initiatives, and other related opportunities.
- Assist in creating pitch materials, storytelling, narratives, and related content.
- Identify and highlight important news moments within the organization.
- Recommend and onboard scalable software solutions to support communication channels & build revenue streams.
- Provide solutions for any community/client troubleshooting needed, using a high level of discretion to solve concerns quickly and thoroughly.
- Other duties may be assigned and/or modified as business needs change.
What You'll Bring:
- 1-3 years of demonstratable experience using HighLevel required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus, but not necessary.
- 2+ years of Customer Relations or Customer Service experience.
- Demonstrated experience and success in building and maintaining an online community across any social platform.
- Experience with marketing software is a plus!
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage customers over phone, video calls, and emails as the situation requires.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and manage conflict.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment where your contributions matter, leading to significant personal career growth.
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of a highly integrated and diverse team.
