Designer Greetings is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to work alongside the Creative Director of Stationery and Specialty Projects. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, communicative and must have the ability to collaborate with other designers, company leadership and creative heads. This position will involve designing new product for planners, calendars, journals, list pads, stickers, etc.

There will be an opportunity for a hybrid work schedule following an extended period of training wherein the ability to work independently and efficiently is demonstrated.

Daily Duties include but are not limited to:

• Create stationery designs with cohesive typography and art composition

• Research trends for above mentioned products

• Create/manipulate surface patterns for wrapping paper, gift bags, etc.

Qualifications:

• Strong typographic and layout skills

• Ability to create seamless repeat patterns from new and existing art

• Extremely proficient on Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)

• Strict attention to detail and able to juggle multiple projects at a fast pace

• Strong organizational skills

• Experience with Pantone and CMYK printing file set up

• Knowledge of treatment plates for foil stamp, emboss and spot uv

Requirements:

• Must have related design degree or significant work experience in graphic design

• Outstanding portfolio

• A minimum of 4-6 years work experience

• Stationery or greeting card experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
