Postdoc in Simulations of Biosystem
One Postdoctoral positions of simulations of biomaterials is available in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of South Carolina. This position is for the project about interfacial electron transfer/redox, biological systems (proteins, lipids and nucleotides), polymers, or nanoparticles using multiscale simulations. The appointment will be 1-2 years.
Required qualifications:
1) Expertise in QM/MM, AIMD, Machine learning based MD, cellular simulation, or/and kinetic Monte Carlo.
2) Expertise in the simulations of interfacial redox and electron transfer, enzymatic reactions, polymers or nanoparticles.
3) Good programming skills.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: (1) experience in the quantum simulations; (2) machine learning, metadynamics simulations or the development of coarse-grained forcefield parameters would be a plus. Experience in handling big data would also be a plus.
