Role Overview
As a Paid Search Strategist, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and analyzing paid search (PPC) campaigns, primarily across Google and Microsoft Ads. By directly collaborating with a Senior Paid Search Strategist, you’ll maximize campaign effectiveness and provide actionable, data-driven insights that directly influence client growth and success.
What You'll Do
- Campaign Execution & Optimization: Launch, manage, and refine Paid Search campaigns, optimizing ad relevance, bidding strategies, and conversion tracking.
- Performance Monitoring & Strategy: Thoroughly analyze key KPIs (CTR, conversion rate, CPC, account metrics) to drive sustained performance improvements.
- Collaboration: Craft and present campaign reports, participate in client meetings, and coordinate with creative teams for high-impact ad assets.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep current on paid search trends, test new strategies, and recommend improvements to internal processes.
Requirements
- 1+ years of demonstrable paid search experience – agency background preferred
- Proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Search, Display, Remarketing, YouTube)
- Strong analytics skills using Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other PPC platforms
- Experience with keyword research, ad copywriting, A/B testing, and bid optimization
- Solid knowledge of conversion tracking, audience targeting, and campaign reporting
- Confident interacting with colleagues and clients using digital collaboration tools
- Organized, proactive, self-motivated, and adept at managing competing priorities
- Google Ads Certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with Paid Social campaigns is a plus
