Hours- First shift but must be flexible for second shifts PRN per business needs
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Delivers training programs for associates, including compliance, safety, specific job function training and related Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
2. Oversees training in all key areas of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, quality control, pick, pack, inventory management systems.
3. Determines training needs and communicates them to their manager and assists with the development of training aids such as instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids, using a variety of media through contributions as a subject matter expert.
4. Gather content and design low complexity materials, meet timeline deliverables and deadlines, and communicate risks to project manager/lead in a timely manner as a subject-matter expert.
4. Recommends changes to course material and training manuals to meet specific training needs.
5. Participate in the testing and piloting of new training programs and provide valuable feedback to ensure successful future training deployment initiatives.
6. Assesses associates’ skills, talents, performance and productivity, prepare evaluations and make recommendations for improvement.
7. Onboard new hires and manage training curriculum, identify skill gaps, identify future training needs.
8. Administers post-training performance evaluations and makes recommendations for operational updates
10. Consistently implements measurement strategies.
11. Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, to meet training objectives.
12. Keeps current on industry needs by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars.
13. Maintains understanding of new educational and training methodology.
14. Up to 20% travel.
15. Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires completion of a four-year bachelor's degree and five years’ experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Training experience is highly preferred. Warehouse experience desirable.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of software technology, and proficiency with remote meeting technologies.
3. Ability to review and interpret data; adjust as appropriate.
4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
5. Ability to participate and contribute to major organizational change initiatives.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
8. Ability to train others and established learning objectives in a fast-paced and changing environment.
9. Effective teambuilding, organizational, and leadership skills.
10. Training experience is highly preferred.
11. Strong presentation skills.
12. Warehouse experience desirable.
13. Knowledge of AmerisourceBergen Labor Management System and Standard Operating Procedures preferred.
14. Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred.
15. Familiarity with warehouse operations software and inventory systems preferred.
