Seeking an administrator/administrative coordinator for a dynamic, grass roots nonprofit organization, the Watts Gang Task Force (WGTF).
Starting salary $60,000 with room for advancement and increases.
The administrator will work closely with the WGTF Board to develop the work of this nonprofit organization.
The Program Administrator:
- Must have ability to work with various Los Angeles City and County agencies;
- Work closely with WGTF Board Members and/or consultants to generate all funds needed to sustain project activities;
- Must be able to initiate and manage grant applications and funding opportunities as well as lead management of grants that are awarded.
- Develop internal systems to track all WGTF project activities as required;
- Manage project finances in accordance with Bookkeeper policies and procedures;

- Develop an annual budget and regularly review the project’s fiscal status with the WGTF Board;
- Provide project employees and volunteers clear direction, set appropriate work standards, and ensure a fair work environment;
- Review staff job performance at least annually, and address any employee performance issues in consultation with the WGTF Board;
- Maintain regular communication with the WGTF Board, consult with the Board when appropriate, and produce monthly update reports for the Board.
