Soni's client, a global leader in aerospace and industrial components, is seeking a Network Manager to oversee and maintain their critical network infrastructure. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of technical challenges in a dynamic environment.
Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite in Chesterbrook, PA
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage LANs, WANs, and telephony systems
- Ensure network performance, security, and scalability
- Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network traffic
- Implement network security measures
- Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Manage IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, and network backups
- Lead a team of network engineers/administrators - 10-12 total FTE + contractors
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments
- Communicate network issues, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience and experience building and growing teams
- 8+ years of experience in network administration or engineering
- Experience with vendor management
- U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residence, or work authorization required (ITAR/EAR) - MUST reside in PA or DE
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, SD-WAN)
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Proficient in Cisco products
- Project management capabilities - certifications are a bonus
- Manufacturing and/or defense background is a bonus
