Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with kidney-related conditions and diseases
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with chronic kidney disease
- Perform dialysis procedures and manage dialysis treatments for patients
- Conduct consultations and provide medical advice to patients and their families
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nephrology research and treatment options
Experience:
- Board certification in Nephrology
- Completion of a Nephrology fellowship program
- Experience in diagnosing and treating kidney-related conditions in patients of all ages
- Proficiency in using medical coding systems, such as ICD-9 and ICD-10, for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Knowledge of specialized procedures, such as gastric lavage, neonatal ventilator management, and hospice palliative medicine, is a plus
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, seniors, and individuals requiring ventilator support
