PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques, and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
• Mix and serve drinks, proportioning ingredients to exact recipes and cost criteria
• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner, and exemplifying standards
• Actively market venue; which includes participating in weekly marketing requirements and voluntary outings, including but not limited to
• Assist in developing restaurant database through networking and completing data cards
• Build and establish personal clientele list
• Minimum number of posting and post sharing requirements weekly
• Posting and engaging (liking and commenting) with the venue’s social media posts, as well as engaging with review sites, such as Yelp
• Actively use social media to engage the guest in an immersive and interactive experience
• Employees will model in a yearly venue promotional calendar
• Employees may be required to do promotional modeling for the venue, with activations outside of the venue or other locations to promote the venue
• Actively encourage guests to participate in the social experience by posting and tagging
• Maintain bar inventory, orders product and supplies to meet established par levels
• Consistently maintain a well groomed appearance, posture and hygiene
• Prepare all mixes and garnishes
• Provides direction to and assists Apprentice Bartenders as needed.
• Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment
• Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and supplies – ensuring items are sanitary and in good working order
• Communicate with management and service team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests or other employees
• Participate in promotional events and programs throughout the casino and resort
• May perform in public relations capacity, which may require designer or special wardrobe and multiple costume changes
• Perform other job-related duties as requested
• Participate in private events when scheduled

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a bartending and (2) years’ experience in a nightlife/nightclub venue
• Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms
• At least 21 years old of age

SKILLS

• Ability to work as a part of a team in a high-stress and high-volume environment
• Ability to work in and adapt to a dynamic and frequently changing environment
• Ability to adhere to and execute established department policies and procedures
• Extensive knowledge of spirits and wine
• Ability to work under pressure while being able to pay attention to details
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer/POS skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to maintain professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to department and company standards
• Possess intrapersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written forms
