Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a developer responsible for building application for Android and iOS platforms based on the Unity framework. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement functionality, translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging application. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential.

The essential deliverables for a Sr Unity Developer are to:

• Implement apps functionality as per communicated design
• Translate design specification into functional apps
• Communicate with other team members to establish an effective pipeline and integrate media assets
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, UI styles, and user session management
• Adept with a complete MVC approach towards building code
• Experience in optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with current design and architectural patterns
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
• Experience with JIRA or similar platform is a plus

Requirements & Qualifications:

• M.Tech, B.Tech or a bachelor's degree
• 5+ years professional experience in game development & hands-on experience with Unity3D engine (editor and scripting)
• Solid knowledge of C# and its related structures, design patterns and methodologies
• Experience using HTTP/REST APIs to communicate with backend server a plus
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical parties
• A proven track record of successful execution across all platforms such as web, mobile and PC
• Ability to co-ordinate with developers, designers, and QA teams
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
