Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company's direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service; Star+ which brings live sports and general entertainment exclusively to the Latin America region; and Disney+, the dedicated streaming home for entertainment from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic. The Media Operations Department at Disney Streaming Services consists of agile and responsive teams of technicians that perform the daily processes and procedures of our live and on-demand streaming video products. The department's responsibilities consist of round-the-clock support for these products, ensuring proper functionality across all platforms. The Streaming Media Assistant is part of a streaming Media Operations team staffed 24/7. SMA's routinely provide live, hands-on operational and procedural support for our partner products, including system health monitoring and incident management, in addition to live and VOD streaming media orchestration using proprietary software. This is an on-site role. The company requires on-site workers to be fully vaccinated absent a legally required exemption approved by the vendor. Exceptions to the vendor vaccine requirement apply in states that have laws concerning employer vaccine mandates. Vendor must ensure that any unvaccinated workers follow applicable safety protocols when they are on-site. Specifically, for any of their workers who are not verified as fully vaccinated, it is the vendor's responsibility to ensure that at all times when performing services on-site at a U.S. Disney location or property, those individuals, at a minimum, will wear a disposable face mask certified by ASTM International with an ASTM Level 1 or higher rating (to be changed every day). If the individuals regularly work within three feet of others, the vendor must also implement a secondary mitigation measure such as a face shield or safety glasses. Please note that workers may only remove the face mask if the worker is alone in an office with the door shut, or the worker is six feet of distance from others and actively eating or drinking. Additional safety protocols may be required, as determined in the sole discretion of The Walt Disney Company or its affiliates. If requested, the vendor must inform its Disney contact of any safety protocols the vendor has implemented for any of its workers while on-site at a Disney location or property.

• This position will monitor live programming events. • They categorize a baseball game as a single event so these people will be monitoring multiple events at the same exact time. Outside of monitoring events they will also be monitoring the health of the streams 2 products main products that they have picked up with the workload that they have had - Latin America starz+ and ESPN o We are looking for individuals to check on the monitoring and health of events so that the managers and people on the team can focus on more admin related work • It frees up the main team to troubleshoot more o Because of there are so many events during the week and weekend these are pretty much operators helping the main team • It allows managers to manage • More and More sporting events are getting added to there schedule. • Last year they added starz+ it doubled there workload and didn’t double there team.
