A Mechanical Engineer job in Marlborough, MA is currently accepting applications. This is a 12-month contract position with our key biotechnology client. In this role, you will support R&D for product development of bioprocessing equipment. To be considered for this role, you will have a B.S. Degree in Engineering along with 1+ years of related experience.

Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• This role requires a technical aptitude and understanding of P&ID"s, vessels, piping systems, instrumentation, controls, and heating/cooling.
• Ability to assemble, operate, and troubleshoot mechanical systems safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Experienced with ERP systems to create BOM"s and execute ECO"s.
• Create purchase specifications for equipment with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the bioprocessing equipment industry.
• Have a critical to quality mindset and ability to execute first article inspections.
• Create and execute test protocols and reports.

Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience from a GMP working environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, including good technical communication
• Previous project or team experience.
