Heroic Public Speaking is considered by many to be the preeminent keynote Speaker training company in the world. We're a small company with headquarters in Lambertville, NJ, and were founded by a husband and wife team.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for an ambitious, data-oriented, and strategy-minded marketing operations manager. We know that data lies at the heart of any effective marketing strategy. You will help us succeed in our digital marketing efforts by assuring that our data is organized, accurate and accessible. You will oversee our Hubspot implementation and management, build reporting dashboards, and optimize our email sales and marketing initiatives leveraging data and consumer insights. You will also have the opportunity to work with the team on producing and sharing our marketing assets.

SOME MORE OF YOUR SPECIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be our super admin for all aspects of Hubspot at Heroic Public Speaking.
  • Build reports to measure various sales, marketing, and service efforts.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy in CRM.
  • Create and manage workflows in Hubspot including but not limited to, automated email sequences, campaigns, and conversions, as well as forms, assessments, and surveys.. eSegment subscriber, lead, and customer lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions including content downloads, site page visits, and more.
  • Create custom modules, templates, and functionalities within HubSpot CRM to enhance user experience and support specific sales and marketing processes.
  • Measure results and optimize lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers.
  • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of email sends.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality within the CRM system by implementing data validation rules, data cleansing activities, and data migration as needed.
  • Implement and sustain automation to support business processes.
  • Support marketing team to facilitate data access and entry.
  • Help integrate other platforms and apps with HubSpot.
  • Identify and implement new processes in CRM systems for growth and scalability.
  • Manage permissions and set up user roles.
  • From time to time additional support will be needed from you around marketing and sales production, including posting on social media, planning the marketing calendar, shooting basic iphone video at events, and more.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

WE DO, HOWEVER, EXPECT THE FOLLOWING

  • Hubspot or similar CRM experience. Hubspot certification is a very big plus.
  • Ability to report and analyze marketing data. Experience working in data operations.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite is a must. Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hubspot) is also a very big plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are important. You don’t need to be a speaker or performer but you do need to work well with others. Working well with others is kind of the secret sauce at Heroic Public Speaking. We have a no jerks rule.
  • Accountability.
  • Willingness to take well-informed risks, not shy away from them.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet a deadline while maintaining an emphasis on detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Comfort with taking direction and responding to feedback well while also having the confidence to improve company processes.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in support of other teammates, as well as work independently.

TECHNOLOGY

We’re a company that values and embraces technology; you must be comfortable learning and using modern processing and communication applications, like Google Suite, Hubspot, ClickUp, and Slack.

SALARY

Salary for this position is in the range of $60,000 to $85,000, depending on experience level, plus health and retirement benefits that increase your total compensation package by about 10%. Compensation packages are revisited annually at the end of the calendar year.

WORK LOCATION AND TRAVEL

Sometimes (much of the time) you’ll work from home or your favorite coffee shop, and sometimes we gather at Heroic Public Speaking HQ in Lambertville, NJ for team meetings. You’ll also come to some of the events.

You won’t be expected to travel out of state but opportunities may present themselves from time to time for various reasons – a conference, business development meeting, training.
