Position Summary
ISEP is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the ISEP team in increasing engagement with our institutional partners. The Marketing Coordinator will support the needs of ISEP under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Institutional Marketing.
The Marketing Coordinator must bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a collaborative virtual setting, and consistently delivers high-quality and impactful print and digital content. The ideal candidate is passionate about study abroad, enjoys digging into the details of a project or program, and is excited to contribute to a mission-driven organization that expands access to international education.
Principal Relationships
External: ISEP members and affiliates, ISEP Council of Advisors
Internal: Communications and Marketing, Member Relations, and Enrollment Management
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop content, write and format emails, and build lists as part of ISEP’s strategic messaging calendar using a CRM
- Manage and coordinate ISEP’s presence on third party databases, including VIA TRM and Terra Dotta, including updating dates, schedules, and content to best reach prospective students
- Research, develop, and maintain a library of marketing PowerPoint presentation slides for use by ISEP staff
- In collaboration with staff across the organization, research, write, and design custom content for ISEP institutions and accurately showcase ISEP programs across all channels, including web, email campaigns, printed collateral, and events
- Build, implement, and track customized engagement campaigns for institutional partners, which may include email campaigns, social media takeovers, and virtual events
- Support in-person and virtual event logistics, including building registration forms and invitations, creating signage, and other materials to support events
- Assist with presenting or facilitating virtual webinars and events for institutional partners and stakeholders
- Work with ISEP program participants to develop program testimonials
- Use Salesforce analytics to inform strategy and measure effectiveness of email campaigns to prospective and current institutional partners
- Leverage AI-powered tools responsibly to enhance efficiency and improve workflows
- Assist with evaluation projects including survey distribution and data analysis
- Collaborate effectively with a fully remote team using Microsoft Teams and other virtual tools
- Support additional marketing needs of ISEP staff as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, creative writing, global studies, or related field
- 2 years of prior work experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills, as evidenced by application materials and professional experience. Please submit a writing sample as part of your application.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort with public speaking and presenting to groups in a virtual setting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently, with initiative and accountability
- Willingness to learn ISEP's programs at a level of depth that will allow for the creation of compelling and accurate materials

Desired Additional Qualifications
- Experience updating websites
- Experience in email marketing
- Experience studying, living, interning, or working in another country
- Experience working for a university-based study abroad office or a study abroad organization
- Basic knowledge of HTML and managing web content
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
- Experience using Asana or project management tools
- Experience working in international education

Starting salary for external hires are determined by a number of factors including internal equity and external market data. Starting salary offers will typically fall between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range for each position.
