Marketing Associate, Client Success

BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for working with the Client Success Marketing Manager to support client communications and engagement campaigns to retain and grow existing client relationships and enhance value. Associate will work with clients as well as internal teams to develop and write communications and calendars, as well as support client retention efforts as needed within the department.

MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Content Marketing Functions - Independently write a variety of marketing material including developing and implementing marketing material strategies ensuring content and promotions are coordinated across mediums (e.g., blogs, website, awareness materials, sales material, etc.).

  • Write a variety of marketing materials (e.g., e-mail, web content, advertising, brochures, flyers, infographics, social media posts, blog posts, etc.) ensuring each item is carefully proofed and edited prior to publication.
  • Research content and resources for materials and communications
  • Help managing content on the Member Engagement Platform.
  • Write concise, consistently top-notch copy for brochures, magazines, newsletters, direct mail materials, PowerPoint presentations, promotional information, training manuals, white papers, etc., consistent with tone, style, message and branding.
  • Partner with internal resources (e.g., sales, marketing, product management, client engagement, etc.) to build and execute communications and calendars.
  • Work collaboratively with the editorial, design and executive management marketing team.
  • Handle high-volume workload within strict deadlines and production schedules.
  • Ensure content provides clear benefits to target audience, conveys the brand voice and personality, and meets high-quality standards.
  • Serve as a Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) of product offerings.

Project Management - Provide direction on all assigned projects ensuring follow through from beginning to end of project management life cycle.

  • Attend and run client consultation meetings on communication strategies.
  • Serve as point for the development of client communications plans.
  • Establish standards and strategy for each project.
  • Manage all assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Continuously monitor tasks and project assignments; identify and resolve problems.

Problem Resolution - Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to area of responsibility.

  • Respond with a sense of urgency to problems escalated to employee's level
  • Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided
  • Place the highest priority on providing quality service by ensuring the unique needs of internal/external customers are met
  • Ensure quality resolution and thorough and accurate documentation of issues
  • Provide analysis and feedback to management staff and appropriate departments regarding recurring problems, recommending improvements aimed at reducing future occurrences of problems
  • Participate in creating, administering, and continuously updating procedures for resolution of all related issues

Team Interface/Customer Service - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members and department contacts.

  • Cooperate with team members to meet goals or complete tasks
  • Provide quality customer service that exceeds customer expectations and improves level of service being provided
  • Treat all internal/external customers, team members and department contacts with dignity/respect
  • Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided

Mental and Physical Requirements

  • This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work near or around computers, telephones, and printers
  • The nature of the work in this position is sedentary and the incumbent will be sitting most of the time
  • Essential physical functions of the job include typing, grasping, pulling hand over hand, and repetitive motions to utilize general computer software/hardware continuously throughout the work day
  • Essential mental functions of this position include concentrating on tasks, reading information, and verbal/written communication to others continuously throughout the work day

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, communications, digital media or related field required
  • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a content marketing role required, preferably to include content strategy development
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business-to-Business environment preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a global, multi-national company preferred

Other

Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
