The local SEO specialist will help dictate local search engine optimization strategy for a portfolio of clients all over the U.S. You should be very familiar with concepts like on-page SEO, off-page SEO, Google Business Profile, and backlinking. You will be a resource for our team in understanding trends, opportunities, and challenges for our clientele in the local SEO space.

Primary responsibilities: reporting on and interpreting client data reports, understanding trends in local SEO, upskilling in local search forums, virtual conferences, and peer groups, and analyzing and dictating client strategy.

You'll also be responsible for keeping our agency on the cutting edge of local SEO opportunities, from niche opportunities to big ideas. You need to be motivated to constantly get better at ranking sites on Google and solving challenges our clients face.

Requirements

• 2+ years in SEO (any discipline)
• Has managed a Google Business Profile
• Experience working in client strategy
• Proficient in interpreting and communicating data stories
• Excellent written communication
• Excellent video presentation
• Enjoys solving problems on a daily basis

  Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in Brightlocal
• Experience working with a data visualization tool like Google Data Studio
• Experience working with contractors on projects
• Demonstrated success growing a site's local SEO
• Proficient with Google Search Console
• Located in the mid-west
