What are you working on?

  • The name of the project(s): Nitro Nation VR

  • At what stage of the project(s)? Active preparation for release in Early Access

  • Genres: Racing
  • Platforms: VR

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

  • working on gameplay: searching for design solutions, describing tasks, playtesting and processing playtest results;

  • writing extensive and well-structured documentation for the game project;

  • participating in product development and project management;

  • prototyping together with programmers;

  • operational and strategic management of the game design team;

  • offering design visions and plans for the quarter, six months, and year;

  • ensuring the implementation of design solutions and supporting the team in the process;

  • generating conclusions from the results.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience as a game designer;

  • experience in managing a small team or mentoring junior colleagues;

  • 2 or more released projects in different genres;

  • experience of working closely on core gameplay;

  • participation in projects at different stages of their life cycle;

  • product and business mindset;

  • familiarity with VR games, major platforms, projects, and stores.

What is important for us in a person?

A big plus will be:
  • system thinking;
  • completed side-projects, participated in hackathons, and game jams, interest in game prototyping;

  • experience in VR project development, ideally mid-core;

  • interest in cars and racing;

  • experience with mid-core or hardcore projects with active basic gameplay;

  • proficiency in Jira and Confluence;

  • ability to work in the CEST time zone.
