Job Description


We're looking for a Lead Designer to join the Digital Studio team. You will be the team lead for the digital user experience across the ServiceNow events portfolio including the pre, during and post on demand website experience. As the lead designer you will work to partner across the marketing organization to build out incredible digital experiences for our digital events. Utilizing superpowers like empathizing, understanding, and applying our users’ and customers’ needs, with the mission to create product experiences they love. Our designers come from a diverse set of skills and backgrounds—design systems, visual, interaction, content, and product design. At ServiceNow, design has a very intentional seat at the table, so our team collaborates closely with both engineering and product management from the get-go.

You will generate concepts and digital experiences that exceed expectations, help craft the design vision and the strategic direction, and you'll play a key role in evolving the website events experience for Servicenow.com. This position requires a proven record in visual design and UX, for the web, particularly for the marketing of major brands.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Lead the team of designers for the events scrum team, ensuring quality and consistency of delivery from the team
  • Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and execute the overall digital event design and user experience
  • Deliver quality user experiences that improve usability and provide meaningful value to ServiceNow users
  • Exercise strong communication and nurture a culture of contributing, feedback, and design excellence
  • Partner closely across the marketing organization with the Strategic Events, Brand and Technology teams to define the user journey maps and develop the digital events UX strategy roadmap.
  • Drive excellence through collaboration with design and engineering, product managers, researchers, and writers to identify business opportunities and user needs
  • Drive standards for design excellence supporting our design system, principles, and guidelines
  • Create interactive prototypes and micro animations that communicate and delight


Qualifications


To be successful in this role you have:

  • 7+ years of relevant design experience, ideally in enterprise software, SaaS B2C or B2B products
  • Experience in digital events experience design
  • Fluent in digital design & marketing, preferable with a background in marketing/comms
  • Expert in designing across multiple devices from mobile, tablet, and desktop.

· Expert in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop)· Must have strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, iterative design process
  • Incredible eye for detail and obsessively meticulous
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
  • A portfolio demonstrating clean, inspired work
