Termageddon is an industry recognized, auto-updating website policies generator. Our SaaS tool generates comprehensive Privacy Policies, Terms of Service agreements and more to help businesses comply with privacy laws and avoid fines and lawsuits. We have a silly name but we’re serious about helping clients get protected.

What’s unique about our software is that we monitor laws, notify our customers of changes, and can even push newly required policy disclosures automatically to our customers’ website policy pages. In other words, we give our customers a strategy to keep up to date with privacy law changes.

We currently have about 10,000 reseller and affiliate partners spanning five countries and have successfully kept tens of thousands of policies up to date with changing legislation. Job description:

As our Laravel Full-Stack Developer working primarily on the back end, you will be creating and deploying a new product offering from Termageddon (for both desktop and mobile (responsive design)).

The product you help develop will be deployed onto tens of thousands of customer websites. You will work with a team, including a front end developer and ui/ux designer, under the direction of our CTO.

Expectations:

Work hours: Monday-Friday (8am CST - 5pm CST)

One hour lunch break (any time)

Requirements:

Extensive prior experience with PHP 8 development in Laravel and a solid understanding of OOP & ORM best practices. Must be able to write complex joins using Eloquent as well as raw SQL.

Prior experience with composer, MySQL, npm and vanilla javascript are essential. The ability to grasp abstract concepts is crucial for success in this role.

Experience with Git code repository required.

5+ years of hands-on daily PHP experience

Preferred: Laravel Nova, Docker, and MongoDB

3 professional references

No privacy law experience required.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay

$90,000/year

Interview process:

The interview process will consist of one 30 minute introductory interview and one 60 minute technical interview. The technical interview will require a demonstration of your development skills so please join the interview on a laptop or desktop computer as you will need to share your screen and type.
