Role Overview

The Junior Web Developer will support our development team by building and maintaining features across our monitoring platform. This role will involve back-end development, and front-end work in collaboration with our design, product, and senior development teams. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, working on projects that directly impact website security and performance.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with senior developers to build and maintain features in our platform.
2. Optimize back-end components using PHP (Laravel and Yii).
3. Assist in maintaining our CMS.
4. Create and maintain integrations with AWS for data handling, security, and scalability.
5. Debug and resolve issues with web performance, API integrations, and user interfaces.
6. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
7. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
8. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. Basic knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
2. Familiarity with Laravel, Yii, or similar PHP frameworks.
3. Experience with or an understanding of Craft CMS is a plus.
4. Basic knowledge of AWS or willingness to learn.
5. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Passion for web development and eagerness to learn.
