Primary Responsibilities:

1. Participate in daily team stand-ups.
2. Engage fully in a series of experiential learning sessions covering key Huntington software development practices.
3. Gain hands-on experience with source control, test-driven and behavior-driven development, modern build tools, and container technologies.
4. Work with automated scanning tools to ensure the quality and security of work.
5. Collaborate with peers to build and manage pipelines supporting software deployments.
6. Contribute to group discussions and working sessions; and share learning with peers and mentors.
7. Prepare to join one of Technology’s software development teams, equipped with the skills, mindset, and confidence to deliver real value for that team.
8. Participate in presentations and demos at various internal technology forums.
9. Schedule and facilitate meetings as needed.
10. Actively communicate with team and leadership on assignment status, wins, and challenges.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Good understanding of basic programming concepts.
3. Basic knowledge or experience with one object-oriented programming language such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.
4. Experience with or understanding of X Unit Frameworks such as J-Unit.
5. Experience with or understanding of React or Spring Boot.
6. Experience with or understanding of API or Web Component development.
7. Experience with Git or other version control tools.
8. Experience with O365, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
9. Understanding of or exposure to Agile methodologies.
10. Strong technical skills, business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions.
