Description:

The Junior Designer/Animator, Yankees Productions will help manage content throughout its life cycle from pitch through production and should be able to execute projects with minimal supervision. The Junior Designer/Animator should have excellent project-management skills, working knowledge of all aspects of motion graphics and video production, and a passion for visual storytelling.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and animation of graphics for all video boards in Yankee Stadium for the in-game Yankees Scoreboard show and other Yankee Stadium events.
• Participate in pitches and help create new concepts to be used in-Stadium & on all digital/social platforms
• Think outside-the-box and help develop new creative storytelling methods.
• Collaborate with other departments on both internal and external design projects.
• Effectively manage heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Four-year college degree in Fine Arts, or related field
• Possesses good working knowledge about the Yankees’ organization (including its personnel and history) and Major League Baseball
• Must be willing to follow our team’s games and results, and be willing to make adjustments on-the-fly, anticipating possible revisions
• Ability to multi-task, be a self-starter and show creative initiative
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and creative with strong communication skills
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Design/Animation experience; preferably in the sports industry
• Must have a demo reel with breakdown and an explanation of your project involvement
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D
