Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless and user-friendly mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
4. Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness.
5. Debug and resolve technical issues across the Android stack.
6. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
7. Work with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs to integrate backend services.
8. Stay current with new mobile technology trends, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in Android application development.
2. Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
3. Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, MVVM architecture, and Material Design principles.
4. Experience with Android Jetpack libraries (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room).
5. Solid understanding of mobile app security, performance tuning, and optimization.
6. Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.
7. Experience with Unit Testing and UI Testing (Espresso/JUnit).
8. Familiar with Google Play Store publishing, crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics), and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
