Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating interior construction projects, with additional experience in ground-up construction considered a valuable asset. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing bid proposals, and collaborating closely with our project teams to ensure the successful execution of complex and high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate & Bid Management: Prepare detailed cost estimates for a wide range of interior construction projects, including multifamily high-rises, educational facilities, sports and recreation centers, retail spaces, office buildings, hotels, healthcare facilities, industrial complexes, and casinos. Review and analyze bid proposals from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet project specifications and budget requirements. Experience in ground-up construction estimating will make your application stand out.
• Project Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to define project scopes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and align estimates with overall project goals. Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and related documentation to support smooth project execution.
• Cost Analysis & Market Research: Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and provide value engineering recommendations. Stay current on industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to ensure competitive and accurate estimates that meet the needs of diverse project types.
• Client Interaction & Presentation: Participate in client meetings to present and discuss estimates, budgets, and project timelines, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project financials, and fostering strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Interior Construction Estimator, any additional ground up experience would be a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in estimating software
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods specific to both interior and ground-up construction.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimates and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
